REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL MIP3

It has been two (2) years and six (6) months that this website was closed. Many were disappointed with the closure but we have to keep up with the fast changing technology - facebook and twitter, among others.

With the remaining one month and a half of my stint as Director for Visayas, I have been ruminative as to the manner of my “consummatum est” in LBPEA. Thus here I am re-opening the website pro hac vice for my grand exit.

LBPEA's request was denied verbally by the management citing two reasons: 1) increase in number of employees and 2) increase in dividend remittance to the government

Shall we constantly turn a blind eye on this undesirable information? It is high time that we should compel management to furnish us a copy of the operating policies or guidelines governing these MIPs (1, 2, 1nd 3) since these affects the employer-employee relationship at LBP. Without knowlege and notice on these policies, we remain groping in the dark on how the amounts due us from these MIPs were arrived at or computed. In fact, if we know the formula of the profit sharing, we may intelligently question management why they remitted 58% (?) of LBP’s net income when what is required by the Dividends Law is only “at least 50% of the net income”. Can LBPEA through you Madam Sonia favorably act on this?

Our CNA, which is our contract with management, is clear in providing that we have the freedom to be informed on matters concerning and affecting us….

So they increased the dividend of the government-and in so doing,deprived the employees a just share of their toil? What a shame. Sometimes, i am inclined to be believe that Landbank have already lost their heart and soul.But... maybe just the management.

Yung letter ni Pres Tecson ay nareceive ng Office ni Madam Pico as early as July 08, 2014. Wala formal reply up to this date ang management....Ano ibig sabihin nito? di nila binibigyan ng pansin ang LBPEA - echa pwera ang union...pero pag may concerted effort, saka lang kinikilala!

Alam mo ma'am, hindi basta basta magcover iyang malalaking broadcast mediakong sa tingin nila ay hindi masyadong newsworthy o sensational ang event na iyon.Maliban na lang siguro kong merong mga considerations.Iyan ang ginagawa ng PR men at minsan nagbabayad sila. Puede ba tayong magbayad e itong mga miyembro natin maski armbands hindi pa maka produce.

Siguro ang maganda nating palang gawin ay magrally tayo per unit o branch every lunch break. Maski ilang minuto lang.Pakita natin mga placards with arm bands.Parang lightning rally lang.
