BLACK ARMBANDS

It has been two (2) years and six (6) months that this website was closed. Many were disappointed with the closure but we have to keep up with the fast changing technology - facebook and twitter, among others.

With the remaining one month and a half of my stint as Director for Visayas, I have been ruminative as to the manner of my “consummatum est” in LBPEA. Thus here I am re-opening the website pro hac vice for my grand exit.

This is the medium where you first knew me and this is where I want to personally reach out to you to express my deepest and heartfelt “THANK YOU” for all the years that you trusted me.

Ipag-paumanhin lang po. Pero bakit nakisawsaw pa tayo sa hinaing ng mga supreme court employees. Sa tingin ko'y ibang ang isyu nila sa ating ipinaglaban.Para ginawa pa nating komplikado ang sitwasyon natin.Parang hindi ata ito makatulong sa atin. Ang black armbands pala natin ay di dahil sa CPCS kundi dahil sa DAP. No wonder walang nag susukbit dito ngayon.

May kanya kanya po tayong hinaing iba ang sa Supreme Court iba rin po ang sa atin.

Ang pag black armbands natin suggested na po yan during the LBPEA Convention kaya nagkalakas loob po tayo na gawin ito para maiparating sa gobyerno na tayo po ay nagluluksa dahil sa kanilang pagbabalewala sa ating naka pending na salary increase. Nagluluksa po tayo para ipakita po natin sa lahat na tayo po ay naghihikahos dahil sa ating sweldo na hindi na kaya tustusan ang nagtataasang gastusin.

Kung meron po kayong paraan na pwede nating gawin lahat upang maipahayag na kailangan taasan ang ating sweldo..paki post po ninyo dito ang inyong suggestions..maraming salamat po

Ok po. Iyong support sa SC employees kasi naka"headline" post diyan kaya akala namin iyon ang nag trigger ng arm band protest natin. Suggestion po namin na e communicate ito officially sa mga governors para ma jointly prepare iyong arm bands. Kasi parang wala ata nakablack dito sa amin.

It is impossible for us to achieve our collective goal for salary increase if we will not cooperate. Our salary is no longer enough to meet the ever increasing prices of basic commodities- food and education. We have done this before the wearing of black armbands when we cried for our pay plan in 2011. Here we are once again starting to express our grief and anger on the apathetic stance of Malacanang on our salary increase.

The National Directors were instructed last Friday by our LBPEA President Edgar Allan Tecson to inform all the Regional Governors in our respective areas to utilize part of the local funds in the purchase of 1-inch black ribbons for distribution to different units.

LBPEA HO already prepared last week almost 1000 armbands for the head office employees. LBPEA President also notified EVP Climaco and VP Voltaire Pablo about the wearing of black armbands.

I have already sent text messages to all the Regional Governors in the Visayas.

Let us give our support in this endeavor to express our grief on the insensitivity of Malacanang over our demand for salary increase despite the fact that we rank no. 1 in dividend remittance among GFIs.

UNFAIR naman sa atin kung yung salary lang ni Pres GEP ang nag.increase ng 2X within 2 years at naging 2nd highest paid Gov't Official pa ng ating Bansa, samantala tayo mga Rank n Files sobra 5 yrs na tayo naghingi ng increase wala pa rin!!!!

Good point manongjong16, maganda rin sana kung mabigyan media mileage ang mga legal moves ng LBPEA expressing the sentiments of its ranks...baka kasi di pa alam ni Pnoy ang issue na yan dahil sa mga mas pressing issues na hinaharap nya!
