It has been two (2) years and six (6) months that this website was closed. Many were disappointed with the closure but we have to keep up with the fast changing technology - facebook and twitter, among others.
With the remaining one month and a half of my stint as Director for Visayas, I have been ruminative as to the manner of my “consummatum est” in LBPEA. Thus here I am re-opening the website pro hac vice for my grand exit.

| February 18, 2013 Update from the meeting with Pres. Pico, HRMG Head, PAD Head
The following issues were mentioned by LBPEA officers for clarification:
1. Step increase – LBP informed GCG that we are implementing it for the past years and it was also included with the interim pay plan approved by Pres. Aquino. GCG asked LBP the guidelines. LBP submitted it last Thursday (February 14, 2013) together with the formal request for approval to continue implement it. 2. PBB contra MIP 2 and 3 – GCG clarified that PBB is to replace all forms of performance based bonus/incentives of all GOCCs and GFIs. However, LBP mentioned that we have MIP 2 and 3. GCG instructed LBP to submit its approval by previous administrations. GCG also said that LBP may have the option to choose which to implement, PBB or our existing MIP 2 and 3. Meanwhile, the ranking for CY2012 will be submitted to GCG on February 28, 2013. 3. RATA – PAD already made their proposal for its implementation in compliance with the DBM circular. 4. CNA incentives – PAD and HRMG will study it first and ask for GCG’s approval/clearance. According to PGEP, if it is mandated, LBP will comply. 5. Issue on Pres. Pico’s appointment – PGEP said that Sec. Purisima himself informed the media that the issue is not true. According to him, he should know if PNoy has plan for replacing PGEP as president of LBP. 6. LBP 50th year anniversary bonus – LBPEA mentioned to PGEP the proposal request for 50K bonus. PGEP asked HRMG and PAD to include it with their request to GCG.

| Kung ganyang wala paring kaliwanagan, if i were the mgt, ibigay na yan. kasi kung hihintayin mo yong gcg clearance, talagang abutan tayo ng election ban nyan. Kung iparelease yan, if COA finds out not allowed by law, di ibalik, atleast ma speed-up yong decision hindi yang naghihintayan kung sino ang mag decide.. So what now?
May mga cases of benefits naman tayong na dedis-allow, its not the 1st time if ever nga ma dis allow ,at least we tried our best, than just waiting for another month. Maikli lang po tali ng mga rank in file, hindi po tyo katulad sa mgt, na may mahuhugot pa sa ganitong panahon ng matinding pangangailangan. I strongly believe kasalanan yan ng mgt, dahil sinanay tayo sa mga ganyang benefits, instead integrating it to our basic salary. wala na sanang problema. Saan na yong sinasabi nilang walang probema kasi institutionalized yang ating mga benefits? tsk.tsk.
We cannot negotiate what is fixed by law or lahat ng issues related to economic aspects, kaya nga yong ating CNA ng LBPEA ay pawang mga non-economic aspect lang yong laman. Samatuwid, pag dating sa economic issues, mgt ang may kauukulang obligasyon na isulong at protektahan ang ating mga benefits, mag re-react lang tayo pag medyo nadedehado. Management spending millions of pesos commissioned watson for the study n recommendation of compensation way back 2008, ang tanong? nagamit ba yong output ng Watson? definitely hindi, dahil interim compensation yong naimplement sa atin fr TFCC.. Its a waste of money, pero yong rank in file, madawit ka lang, hindi kana patulugin sa kaso. Pero dito ang laking kawalan at ka palpakan, wala man lang na tatanggal? or delicadeza na lang na mag resigned dahil sa hindi ka aya-ayang pang yayari sa ating institution. Sana kung isa kayo sa mga contributory ng pag hihikahos ng mga rank in file sa ngayon, huwag na ninyong punuan pa ng ka palpakan, dahil kami ang higit na naapektuhan at naapakan. | My personal view, an org has its share of irks and sparks but all of these are not stumbling blocks rather these are opportunities for everyone, no matter what your rank is to know, learn and improve. there's never a perfect form of leadership, at any given moment we fail, we cant satisfy everybody. but by giving each an opportunity to air his/her side on sensitive issues confronting us is in itself a tall feat to take, what is beneficial to the majority is what counts the most. thanks for this site, this proved to be a forum for all to speak but this too is a clear mirror for us to see, how we are. how volatile emotions can be, how level minded people are, how others tackle issues devoid of emotional and personal circumstances by sticking to issues and facts, and how leaders muster the art of self control and make unparallel decisions. kudos to those who despite the pressures have a level mind to go on with the task of leading this org. u know who u are and to those who are irk in some way by my comments and opinions, sorry, nothing personal here,i am just focused on issues at hand and am airing an ordinary landbankers sentiments kasi marami na po ang dismayado/ still i honor what you deem beneficial to all of us. i hope despite everything, we still are one with our cause. at the end, ' THE END MAY COME FOR A LONG TIME, BUT STILL ITS IN SIGHT, AND AS WE APPROACH IT, WE SUDDENLY FIND A SOLUTION, WE FEEL THE WORLD NEEDS DESPERATELY, A LESSON IT HAS TO BE TAUGHT." | The report proves two things: First, that our union officers are doing something contrary to earlier insinuations. Second, that despite the actions, nothing is certain at this point because almost all issues are either under study or subject to clearance.
