KAMAGGFI MEETING AT LBPEA

KAMAGGFI or Kapisanan ng Manggagawa sa GOCCs at GFIs held its 1st organizational meeting at LBPEA Office on January 28, 2013.

Election of KAMAGGFI Chairman was the primary agenda of the meeting and DBP Employees Union President-ARMIN LIGSON was the unanimous choice of the group for the 2013 Chairmanship.

KAMAGGFI is composed of 10 employees association from GOCCs/GFIs namely: LBP, DBP, PCIC, Duty Free Phils, SSS, PDIC, GSIS, PCSO, TIA, PPA. The Association Presidents of these Employees Associations were present during the meeting together with PSLMC-DOLE representative.

LBPEA is one of the five founding members of KAMAGFI and reaffirms its solidarity with the group towards promotion of employees' welfare.

The KAMAGGFI expressed its stand on PBB for the abolition of the 10% marginal rating wherein it would assert the granting of performance bonus to all employees.

The KAMAGGFI is our strong alliance in pushing for our economic benefits with the Governance Commission for GOCCs(GCG) and also on all other employment related concerns with the Civil Service Commission or any agencies.

It is just a mere stand of KAMAGFI and it is an external group as far as our institution is concerned it will not affect us in terms of implementation of the PBB because what would prevail still is the existing PBB Guidelines as approved by Malacanang. This is a mere proposal which KAMAGFI intended to elevate to Malacanang for a change on the PBB Guidelines having in mind the benefit of all the employees and if ever granted it will not be effective for 2012 performance because for sure it would be prospective by 2013 performance.
