ELECTION OF REGL GOVERNORS AND SECTORAL REPRESENTATIVES

The Unit Governors elected in the different units will gather for another election to choose from among them their representatives. In the case of head office units, they will be electing their Sectoral Representatives while outside head office the Regional Governors and other officers to compose the Regional Board.

The election will be conducted by the National Executive Board particularly the National Directors in their respective geographical areas.

The Sectoral Order for the travel of Unit Governors to attend the election is being arranged at the Head Office.

To all the aspiring Regional Officers, I wish you will make a difference this time by doing justice to the position you will be assuming. It is the doing of the obligation and responsibility expected from the position.

The Unit Governors have the responsibility of ensuring that the employees within the unit are properly informed. Should there be work related problems/concerns, the Unit Governors should get involve and do something like reporting it to the Regional Governor for appropriate action.

The welfare of the employees would be best serve by us working together as a team. The success of our association lies not only in the hands of a few but in all of us. Let us all get involve to achieve what we expect to achieve.

To my fellow LandBankers in this website, let us be lavish with our constructive suggestions and limit our destructive criticisms for us to work harmoniously for the benefit of all of us. Let us help our officers.

I am a newly elected Unit Governor in our Branch, aside from what you mentioned responsibility/ies of a Unit Governor are there any other duties and responsibilities that i must do? And from where i will get the information/s that i will disseminate to my fellow R & F employees?

Primarily. the task of a Unit Governor is to be the info bearer of his unit on matters involving LBPEA. He is responsible for giving updates to the employees in the unit. The sources of information are from the Regl Governor, National Director, and in this website. The monthly agenda of LBPEA NEB is posted in this website for the members to be aware of what is going on in the National Level. Furthermore, activities undertaken by the NEB which are significant are also provided here.

Secondly, a Unit Governor also represents his unit in the meetings called upon by the Regl Governor. This is one of the venues where information about LBPEA activities such as wellness program, national conventions and other concerns are discussed which must be re-echoed to the members.

Thirdly employment related concerns/problems of the members in the unit must be handled first by the Unit Governor and elevate it through channels to the Regl Governor and to the National Director.
