LBPEA NEB MEETING MAR 24-25 2011

REPORT ON THE
LBPEA NATIONAL EXECUTIVE BOARD MEETING

The LBPEA National Executive Board (NEB) held its regular meeting on March 24-25, 2011 at the LBPEA Conference Room-21st floor LANDBANK-Plaza.

1st day -March 24

The following matters were taken during the first day of meeting:

1. Approval of the PF Housing Loan interest reduction from 5% to 4% to take effect tentatively on May 2011.

2. PF New Loan Facility for take out of GSIS Loan from GSIS rate of 12% to PF rate of 7% payable in 6 years to start on June 2011.

PF minimum monthly net take home pay requirement after loan deduction which is applicable for all types of loan is P4,000.00.

3. The NEB requested for the release of MIP3-profit sharing 2nd tranche this April.

4. The NEB reiterated its request from the management for a copy of the pay plan, increase in ACA/PERA, and the one-time release of financial assistance. This financial assistance was the P10T we requested last December which was denied due to EO 7.

5. On HMO Plan Upgrading
The requirement of medical laboratory examination was waived. The plan applied for by the principal cardholder will be considered as is by Medicard subject to downgrading of plan should a dreaded disease be diagnosed.

6. On Salary Increase

In a recent meeting of the LANDBANK BOD and copy of the minutes was provided to NEB through the Director Diaz, our Directors are cognizant of our plight and expressed their solidarity with us.


Excerpt from the minutes of LANDBANK BOD Meeting:

As a matter of solidarity the non ex-officio members decided that some of them would defer receipt of whatever compensation that has been provided under EO 24 until such time that the proposal on the Bank's pay scale increase is approved.


2nd day-March 25

1. The NEB invited Atty. Ramon Cervantes-SVP CSS on its meeting however since he was in Zamboanga AVP Voltaire Pablo-Head ERD came instead.

The first discussion of AVP Pablo was on the management’s side regarding the LBPEA Resolution to Malacanang.

According to him, the LBPEA resolution was reviewed by the Chief of Presidential Management Staff and a communication was sent to DOF Sec. Purisima and Chairman of the LANDBANK Board to comment on it. The LANDBANK management prepared the comment.

AVP Pablo read the draft comment which will be sent to Sec. Purisima. The management’s comment focused mainly on the chronological event which our compensation plan went through since it was first submitted to Malacanang on December 2009 until 2011 with the LBPEA’s resolution.

Other concerns on Personnel matters were also discussed with AVP Pablo.

2. Preparation for the Renewal of Collective Negotiation Agreement

An initial presentation was made on the proposed changes on CNA particularly on the 1st part. Consolidated proposals from different regions will be tackled by the NEB on April.
