LBPEA NEB MEETING ON FEB. 15, 2011

It has been two (2) years and six (6) months that this website was closed. Many were disappointed with the closure but we have to keep up with the fast changing technology - facebook and twitter, among others.

With the remaining one month and a half of my stint as Director for Visayas, I have been ruminative as to the manner of my “consummatum est” in LBPEA. Thus here I am re-opening the website pro hac vice for my grand exit.

This is the medium where you first knew me and this is where I want to personally reach out to you to express my deepest and heartfelt “THANK YOU” for all the years that you trusted me.

LBPEA NATIONAL EXECUTIVE BOARD MEETING

The LBPEA National Executive Board (NEB) held its regular meeting on February 15, 2011 at the LBPEA Conference Room-21st floor LANDBANK Plaza.

LBPEA NEB INVITED GUEST IS ATTY. JAMES ALILAM

Atty. James Alilam is a frequent contributor in LBPEA Website and shares his legal opinion on employees concerns. It is in the website where LBPEA Directors came to know him as a strong ally of the rank-and-file employees. He was invited to attend the LBPEA NEB Meeting for the month of February. Atty. James is a graduate of a scholarship program of the Civil Service Commission. His discussions focused on the recently issued Executive Orders and CSC Omnibus Rules on Leaves. He also tackled Executive Order no. 180 on CNA preparation.

LBPEA PRERATION FOR THE NATIONAL CONVENTION

The LBPEA NEB discussed the last minute preparations for the Annual Convention scheduled to start the following day, February 16.

Revision of program for the convention was made for changes in speakers and topics. Venue for the 1st day was transferred from Intramuros to the 10th floor of LANDBANK Plaza for possible attendance of Mam Pico. The order of the program was presented by VP Meera to the NEB for polishing and final touches.
