A message from LBPEA Visayas Director SONIA D. BROTARLO
Thu Nov 16, 2017 10:30 am by sonia

It has been two (2) years and six (6) months that this website was closed.  Many were disappointed with the closure but we have to keep up with the fast changing technology - facebook and twitter, among others.

With the remaining one month and a half of my stint as Director for Visayas, I have been ruminative as to the manner of my “consummatum est” in LBPEA.  Thus  here I am re-opening the website pro hac vice for my grand exit.

This is the medium where you first knew me and this is where I want to personally reach out to you to express my deepest and heartfelt “THANK YOU” for all the years that you trusted me.

PostSubject: REPORT ON LBPEA NEB MEETING FOR SEPTEMBER 2014   Mon Sep 22, 2014 1:46 pm

LBPEA Office
24th Floor LandBank Plaza
September 18, 2014

1. LBPEA Minutes of Meeting for August was read by Director Mandy Rillon of Central Luzon based on the Secretary’s Minutes draft logbook.

2. PFO Proposals
LBPEA has two pending proposals with the PF Board
a. APL term loan extension from 7 yrs to 10 yrs
b. PF Loan Refinancing

The NEB opted to prioritize the APL term loan extension since this would benefit the many and more particularly those who are no longer qualified for the loan refinancing with net pay of P4t and below. A minimum of P3500 is the expected improvement on the monthly net take home pay based on the random sampling made by Director Weng Leones at the head office.

The Loan Refinancing has already passed the deliberation of the PF Technical Working Group and was initially presented to the PF Board for approval but was held in abeyance subject to few requirements which the LBPEA will be submitting to the PFO.  The head count is one of the requirements.

3. Petition for CP4
The NEB unanimously decided to submit to Malacanang the Petition for CP4 on September 19-Friday but was cancelled due to bad weather condition with suspension of work.  The submission will be done this week.

4. CNA Negotiation
The most controversial issue which shaken the LBPEA Board last Thursday particularly the composition of the Labor Panel.  The provincial group of Directors-Christian, Mario, Sonia and Mandy expressed their negative take on the manner of selection without giving notice.

Eventually, the NEB revised the composition of the labor panel and will be proposing to the management that the 19 NEB officers will be made as panelist for the labor group.
