Very nice suggestion. Ang daming nag rerepresent sa HO na Board member, they are representing different committees, sana yong mga nagrerepresent sa dyan sa HO, gawin ninyo na suggestion ni ganaby way, para may kabuluhan naman kung bakit kayo dyan nalukluk...

Pwede rin siguro na yung proposal ni ganaby way ay dagdagan din... Dagdagan ng isang blog or portal ng LBPEA na national ang scope para mas transparent. Para makita kung ano ang mga nangyayari at kung may ginagawa mga officers ng union sa mga makabuluhang issues.

Since most of the rank and file are not yet aware of the existence of this website. May i suggest that whoever wins this forthcoming election, the new set of officers must come up with LBPEA Newsletter to be circulated every month so that all members will be informed of the activities and accomplishments of the union.

The first time I assumed as LBPEA Officer I was confronted with geographical location problem of reaching LBPEA members in my area of coverage region 6, 7, & 8 in islands separated by sea. Thus I came up with a NEWSLETTER, the one below which proved to be a good medium for getting across information and news.

However, I was not satisfied with just feeding them with updates. So in my desire to reach the members in my turf and for them to reach me as well I came up with this website.

Ganaby way: your suggestion is really best infact we discussed this matter during one of our LBPEA meetings but then it seemed there are no other LBPEA Officers who were as daring as I am (hehe joke lg) so the idea of coming up with a newsletter was thrown in oblivion or just forgotten.

Blitz: I go with your idea of coming up with a blog or portal for LBPEA. Information sharing is fast and interactive we get immediate reactions to any topics. The NEB came up with a website before but then it was not sustained only this LBPEA website and the Facebook maintained by Director Mario Antonio of Zamboanga weathered the test of time.

I offered this website to my fellow Officers for them to post updates and get the feel of what is going on in other areas. But admittedly there are officers who would like the traditional way of getting across their information in a manner which they think is best like conducting meetings.

There used to be National Officers who joined in exchanging comments/posts in this website but due to violent reactions sometimes below the belt from other Landbankers they stopped.

We will try to see whoever wins in this election, there must be a newsletter. There should be regular updates from top officers in this website or else we will impeach them we need only 10% votes for impeachment hehe joke lg po. Seriously, we will try to see what we can do on your suggestions after this election.
